grey is a color.
Does it not disturb anyone else that El Chavo del Ocho was never given a proper name?

No body ever bothered to give that poor orphan a name.

But he does have a name, you say? Chavo is his name? No my dear friends, a “chavo” is a mexican slang term meaning a young child, like our english word “kid”. So to call someone el chavo del ocho, would be like calling them the kid from number eight (eight obviously being the number given to chavo’s barrel, since there were seven apartments in the complex, and his barrel was like the unofficial eighth residency.)
I think it is ridiculously cruel not to give a child a name. Just because he was an orphan does not mean that he would not appreciate the amount of love that being called by an actual name would give him.

So sad, so cruel. I am taking it upon myself to christen the boy we know as “el chavo” as Lil Flappy, cause he was mad hood and knew the language of the streets; plus his hat flaps. You know. So yeah, Lil Flappy for life.
